Online or in-person, our private tuition is customised to the individual learning needs of your child. We specialise in helping students develop the confidence and skills required to become resilient readers by utilising a structured literacy program.
All of our tutors have experience working with students in the classroom and the majority are bachelor-qualified primary school teachers.
On request, we can also provide tuition in other subject areas.

The Reading Tower was created to make learning to read FUN! It includes four games that help your child develop phonemic awareness, blending, decoding and reading fluency. One tower includes: 54 wooden blocks, Decodable word stickers, 1 dice, sand timer and 1 canvas drawstring bag.
Also available as a set for primary schools.
My Year 2 students have loved using the Reading Tower to learn words in a fun, creative way. There are multiple ways to use this resource and the kids always request it during phonics group activities. All the staff that work for The Reading Village are amazing. They are kind, loving and great with kids. They do zoom sessions; for busy parents like myself this is extremely helpful. They also tutor Maths and other stuff too. My little girl has come so far with the help from these lovely ladies, so much so I don't feel the need to keep her down in the level she is in at school.
